Full-Time Personal Support Worker in Fort St. John
Job Description
Care for an adult individual at various hours throughtout the day and week in a residential setting.
Administer bedside and personal care to client such as aid in, bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and undressing.
Plan and prepare meals and special diets and feed or assist in feeding client. May performm routine health related duties such as; changing non-sterile dressings, administering medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency or nurse.
Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, making beds and other general cleaning.
Perform other home management duties under general direction of employer, such as shopping and assisting client to appointments.
Provide elderly and convalescent client with companionship and personal care in clients home under general direction of home care agency supervisor or family members.
General related experience required.
Individual with caregiver recognized schooling will be an asset.
