We provide a professional and individualized approach to a Client-Centered Support system, reinforcing safety of the individual while contributing to specific client needs in their environment. Our Staff work to effectively manage challenging behaviors’ of clients within a variety of settings. At Front Line Health Care we offer a smarter way to staff selection. Our clients rely on us to provide qualified, reliable and caring professionals to implement a high level of service to clients and that require unique care.

Personal Support Worker

Qualifications:
PSW certification from an approved and recognized educational institution
Experience in providing homemaking and/or personal support services, including care of seniors,children is an asset.
Experience working in the community as a PSW is an asset.
Registered under the PSW Registry of Ontario (www.PSWregistry.org).
Ability to read, write and speak English (equivalent to grade 10 level).
Demonstrated commitment to client and family centred care.
Use of proper body mechanics and successful completion of physical readiness test to ensure safe work practices are followed including mobility, transfers, bending, lifting, push and pulling.
Demonstrated ability to recognize safety concerns, communicate effectively using a computer and/or mobile device.
Requires good judgment,the ability to work independently and work cooperatively with the care giving team.
Effective problem solving and decision-making skills to safely service clients.
 

Requirements: Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment

sheet, and ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent.

Shifts/Hours: Rotating shifts, days, evenings, midnights, weekends

Pay: $12-16/hr
