Job Summary:
This state of the art facility is one of the largest secure prisons in Canada housing almost 2000 inmates. The planning for this facility has provided the opportunity to explore innovative ways of providing Correctional Health Care based on current evidence, research, and best practice.
– Ordering, inventorying, stocking unit supplies and equipment
– Cleans and disinfects patient use items and equipment ie. dental
– Ordering and stocking of stationary supplies
– Stocks and orders unit supplies from the internal warehouse
– Cleaning, distribution and storage of unit supplies and equipment
– Reports any concerns regarding supplies and safety issued to the Site Manager
– Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
– Completion of Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
– Corrections experience and hospital experience a great asset.
– Familiarity with medical products is essential.
